So the next couple of days/weeks are going to be crazy.
Sunday MASON turns 2!!!!!
Holy cow where did time go!! Seriously. I officially have a toddler.
He is wild most of the time. There is nothing he doesn't say or copy-cat.
He is still taking a nice 2 hour long nap every day from 1:30- 3:30.
He goes to bed at 8:30 and we dont hear a peep from him till 7 or so.
He loves to play outside and with Dooly ((the dog)).
Every time one of AJ's friends comes by he will make a fist and tell them to pound it. He will punch their fist with his. Haha.
He is super polite, always saying please and thank you and yelling bless you to everyone.
He has also hit his 'typical 2's'.
We say don't touch that and he touches it.
We say let me have that and he turns and runs and throws it as fast as he can.
He is always wanting to help and do everything him self.
He is learning more and more every day.

We are having family over on Sunday night for his birthday, should be fun.

The car is a gift from AJ's Dad and Step mom.

We will be busy the next couple of days with weddings and birthdays so
I figured I'd better get a post in before i procrastinate some more and
it never gets done. ;)

I dont know about you guys,
but... every time i feel that warm sun start to come out,
I want to book it to the beach!
And thats just what we did.
Mason has only been Twice and we only live less then 30 min away.
He had the best time ever.
AJ's cousin Nicki came with us.
The weather was so nice we didnt need sweatchirts and we got to play in the water!!

Alright, I realize i am really terrible at keeping up on this whole blog thing..
So i am going to try and catch you up in one post. :)
I'm going to jump all over the place soooo hold on!
New Years Eve.

I think this nye was the first one where we had absolutely no plans.
We ended up going to AJs' aunt Melanie's house up the road.
They were having a get together with friends and family, so we just joined right in.

Mason was a trooper. I half expected him to be passed out by 9 but he stayed up till 11
and was up bright and early at 6. So nice of him huh?
How do you teach you kid that sleep is good.. and sleeping in, in the morning.. is soooo much better lol.

Alright. On to christmas.
Like last year and the year before, we were extememly busy.
Bouncing around to 5 different places in 2 days.
It's a good thing christmas only happens once a year.

Mason is talking up a storm, it really is crazy how fast he is learning!!

He is still such a bath boy. It is his favorite time of the day.
He loves it more when dad gives him a bath with bubbles. :)

We have been having storm after storm hit us this last week.
I think we are on storm number 5 or 6...
and we arent done yet.
I think they said we will see a little sun this weekend but then
back to the rain.
We have had flash flood warnings, hail, and tornado warnings.
It has been pretty crazy, but i am ready for some Sun Shine.

((I know this probably seems like no biggie to you Missourians.. but to us, this is big. lol))

Ok i know I have been a terrible blogger...
But then i look down my list of bloggers.. and no one is blogging!
What up with that!!

Anyways. Things have been good.
Thanksgiving was crazy as usual.
I think we had a total of 5 thanksgiving dinners.
Not too much ha happened since then..
We got a new boat..
Well not new but new for us.
its an 1989 18' Celebrity.
I can't wait for summer to get here so we can go play in the water!
It has been freezing here! We actually got some snow around the bay area today
and it isnt going to warm up any time soon. :(

Mason is a year and a half today and I take him to the dr
tomorrow for his well check. He is such a smarty pants.
We have so much fun with him.
He just loves his dog.

Jess and Tommy's baby is due any time now.
She has been at the hospital since last night.
So i am going to have my first Nephew today!!

Anyways, thats about all the news i have.

25lbs (50th %)
48cm head (75th %)
He is getting so big.
And it is all happening so fast!!

My little mason is already 14 months.
Crazy I know.
He is a wild child.
i sware if i were to let him
he could tear apart the entire house in a matter of seconds.
He is getting more teeth this week. He had 8.
4 on top and 4 on bottom
but now he has 4 new molars and 2 new eye teeth.
He is such a smarty pants.
after i change his diaper i can tell him to go put it in the trash and he will go do it.
so now i can tell him to put anything in the trash and he will listen.
He lets dooly out of his kennel all the time.
he knows where his knees, toes, eyes, ears, nose, lips, belly and teeth are.
he climbs to the top of everything.
he runs fast all over the house,
waiting for someone to chase him.
He tries really hard to repeat everything everyone is saying.
he waves at complete strangers.
Loves to play with his trucks..
knows a ton of animal sounds.
I'm pretty sure if he had it his way he would eat hamburgers every day.
He is just a ball of energy.

Bath time is still he most favorite.

Anyways. We had a bunch of family in town last week.
Megan and JD and My uncle Mark and his family.
Monday night we went to the boardwalk in santa cruz.
When we got there it was 82 at 5 pm.
all i have to say about that is AMAZING.
Mason had the best time ever playing in the ocean for the first time.
He cried when we took him out.

Tuesday we went to the Aquarium.
It was sooo crowded so we didnt last long but it was still pretty cool.
It was fun to watch mason getting so excited about the fish.

After the aquarium we went to lovers point, had a picnic and then played in the ocean some more.

Weekend in Sonra.

This last weekend we got to take a little mini vacation
to Sonora. It was so much fun, and nice to get out of gilroy.
All of my pictures are backwards.. sorry.. the beginning of the trip is at the bottom of
the post..

We stopped at this little river to stretch our legs and AJ wanted to throw his fishing pole in.

Poor mason was so tired after spending the day driving and playing in the lake.

We stopped at lake Don pedro and played a little bit while we waited to
meet up with our friends who were out on the boat.

Over all it was a great trip. Got a little sun, some wake boarding in, had great friends to hang out with and mason was happy the whole time.

July 4th 2009

I absolutely love the 4th of July.
I don't really know what it is about it that i love so much
but it is defiantly one of my favorites.
It is the one time out of the whole year that i don't mind living right by a busy high school.
They shoot off the fireworks on the baseball field directly across from our house.
It makes for a great show!!

We kept it small this year.
Only a few close friends and some family came over to watch the show.

Mason loves anything and everything to do with water.
Seriously he is crazy about the stuff.
He drinks it all day long even!
AJ's mom has a pool so lately we have been spending our time over there
Since we have been up in the high 90's!!
But when we are not there swimming
Mason cools off in his cool little pool.
It is his new favorite thing.

I'm so bad.
It's almost been two weeks since mason turned 1
and I'm just getting back to my blog.
His birthday was crazy.
We had all our family over
and all our friends.

So needles to say Mason had quiet a party.I went and had his 1 year old pictures done..

I hope one day he will look back and know how many people just love him to pieces!
He is a lucky boy.
He got a ridiculous amount of really cool gifts,
a wagon, an electric quad, a sit and scoot quad, sit and scoot tow mater, two big tonka trucks, and a two Tents! The list goes on but you get the point.

He loves his quad.

and his wagon. He want to be pulled around everywhere we go.

Sadly i think the cake is what gave him the energy to keep going and open his presents.
lol but dont worry.. even though it was his birthday i didnt let him eat the whole thing.

Blog, but i just can't help myself.

This by far is my favorite time of the year.
It is not hot enough to want to die when you go outside
but defiantly not cool enough for a sweatshirt.
We finally got our garden planted.
and AJ got the play house up and put all new grass around it.
(There use to just be dirt and rock)
There is still the slide and swings to go up but that will have to wait till
we can walk on the sod.
We are getting all new paint for the inside and outside of the house this week.
I'm so excited.
So AJ will be painting the outside of the house this weekend.
We are getting everything ready for Mason's big birthday.
I wish you all could come. :( I miss you all terribly.
Anyways. You probably wont hear from me again until after mason's birthday..

11 Months.
It really is insane how fast time goes.
Mason will be One years old in exactly
1 month.

He is such a cheesy boy.
It is so easy to make him smile
and his whole face lights up.

I took these pictures of him today..
so you could see his little 11 month old self.

He waves and claps at everything but i'd have to say
the cutest thing he is doing is blowing kisses.
My mom taught him how. lol
I have no clue how i got so lucky with him.

We have been busy lately, with birthday's

Busy With mason. He is just this little wild child.
There is no slowing this kid down.
AJ got himself another project car
and just had lasik eye surgery done today.
He says he can already see a difference.
Technology is amazing these days.
I got to watch the whole thing through a window
and i probably wasn't allowed to take pictures...
but i had to.
They are just poor quality phone pictures
but you get the idea.
It was really cool.

My Mr. Mason
turned 10 months on the 6th.
he weighed 22 lbs and was 30 in long.
He's just never been a super fat baby.
but he is for sure a tall baby.
He is waving at everyone and clapping.
Those are his newest tricks.

Haha. After the Dr. apt we came home and were playing in this beg empty room
when he stopped and got real serious about getting the band aid off his leg.
As you can see.. by the look on his face it did't feel amazing. lol

he always goes right back to happy.

Oh and Congratulations to Amanda and Josh,
he really is a beautiful baby!

9 1/2 months.

It's crazy to me that I am going to have to start thinking about Mason's 1st birthday in 3 months.
Time flew right by.
He isn't doing anything new.. he is just doing what he was doing faster!
He crawls crazy fast.
It makes me laugh.
We sure do have fun watching him grow.
I am really hoping to get out to Missouri to see everyone before he gets too big.
I want you all to meet him before he gets too big.
He is just so stinking cute!
But we will see.
Money is tight for all of us.

We walk down to the park all the time
Mason thinks there is nothing better then the swings,
and the grass.

Here he is decked out in his green outfit for St. Patrick's Day.
Mom came up and hung out with us at our house and we went shopping
at carters in the outlets.
I didn't know there was a carters.
I was in heaven i love their baby clothes.

He loves books.
Always has.
We just have to watch him close cause the second we turn away he will have that book all torn apart.

And last but not least..
Mason got his big boy car seat.
It is funny to turn around and see him looking at me.
It is such a cute car seat.
AJ's dad got it for him.
It's a simpson racing seat.

24 hour flu.

So this last weekend was a rough one.
My little mason turned 9 months on Friday
and the poor little guy caught a flu bug.
We went to our friend Cassie and Joe's house to see their new dog
and by the time we got home around 8 he was barfing.
He threw up every half an hour till about 11 and then
went to sleep for the night.
He didn't throw up again till the next day around 3.
and then he was done.
But that wasn't the last of the evil flu bug!!
I got super sick Sunday evening around 6.
I was barfing every hour until 3 the next afternoon.
When they say 24 hour flu bug they aren't kidding.
I'm pretty sure the flu is the worst thing ever to have.
Thankfully AJ stayed home Monday to help me with the baby
cause i just couldn't do it myself.

Mason is one funny kid.
He is crawling everywhere and cruising along things all over the house.
He loves to eat everything!!
He also loves to play in daddy wires for the tv.
he starts to go over there and i will catch him and say
Mason No No
and he starts crawling as fast as he can to the tv.
punky boy.

I took him over to mom's house yesterday
and he encountered stairs for the first time..
he didn't even hesitate he just crawled right up them.
I'm pretty sure he wanted the cat at the top of the stairs and would
stop at nothing to get to him.
He is such a smart, happy, boy
I just love him to pieces.

So this last week mason learned how to crawl not just crawl but he is pulling himself up on everything! crazy kid. :)

My little mason is growing up.
He still isn't crawling, and i thought for sure by now he would be...
but i guess i need to be more patient. lol
He Rolls everywhere, scoots backwards, goes from laying down to sitting up,
Pulls himself up on everything, says momma and dadda
and eats like nobody's business.
Pretty much is doing everything but crawling.. or walking.

For AJ's birthday mom and dad got him sharks tickets for this Thursday..
It will be my first time leaving mason home with a baby sitter..
every time i think about it i get all teary lol
I don't know how im going to handle being away from him for even a few hours..
Guess we will find out..

AJ's surprise birthday party.

AJ turned 24 on Feb 8th.
I know, I know, I'm a little behind.
I kept asking him what he wanted to do for his birthday
but he just kept telling me "nothing"
So i went ahead and planned him a surprise birthday party.
I have no clue how he didn't figure out what we were up too,
but he really didnt know.
I got ALL his friends over and everything.
So here's to you hubby.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

{{Oh and what would a surprise birthday party be without someone's car
catching on fire in front of the house. Don't ask me how it happened, all i know is someone came running in the house yelling a car was on fire. So we all ran back out and sure enough.. there was a car on fire.}}

{{Dont worry, No one was hurt or anything. We got the fire out before the fire department even showed up.}}

Weekend Wrap-Up.

We were busy this weekend.
I'm going to go a little backwards here for a minute.
I took these pictures of Mason friday morning.
If you look close you can see he has all 4 teeth on top in.
Finally.
He was so grumpy with those 4.
But as you can see, we are back to happy mason.

He is getting so coordinated.
and finding his balance.
He just moves so good now.
Any day now he will crawl.
{{and then i'm in for it!!}}

Here is a side of mason we don't see very often..
He gets so mad when he can't crawl.
He tries so hard but in the end he just get frustrated.

He has had super sensitive skin since he was only a few weeks old.
It gets dry really easily and I have to use special soap and everything
so he has never had bubbles.
I have been noticing his skin has gotten a lot better
so we tried bubbles for the first time and he did not want to get out.

Friday afternoon AJ got off work early and we went and picked up a puppy.
He is a blue blood bulldog.
He is only 8 weeks old and such a good puppy.
He hasn't had an accident yet in the house..
More then likely it will happen eventually but
it hasn't yet.
He is a quick learner.
He has bright blue eyes
and saggy skin.

Mason is not too sure of him yet.
He likes to torture the puppy when he is sleeping.
But when he is awake and excited he likes to lick mason's face
and mason doesn't like it so much.
haha.

He is a keeper.

Anyways. Saturday AJ ran the rototiller over the yard.
In the garden and around the grass.
and then him and all his friends went and picked up a huge Wooden play structure
for Mason.
It has a slide and swings.
What more could a little boy want.
Honestly.
haha.
Mason got to meet My Grandpa Darrell {his great grandpa} for the first time.
He was in town to go to a sharks game with dad.
It was good to see him.

Today we have just been kicking back.
AJ mowed the lawns and worked on the back yard a bit
It looks really good back there.
I can't wait to get the garden going again.

Not too much has been happening these days.
Mason is getting his top four teeth in all at once
and let me tell you..
He has been so fussy.
and on top of it all he is super frustrated because he can't figure out how to crawl...
yet.
He is so close.
but he always ends up pushing himself backwards.
funny kid.

It has been so nice lately.
for like a week we were up in the 70's
and sunny.
and now we are back into the 60's
with rain.
I love California weather.

We have been looking for a puppy.
We really want an English bulldog.
but they are super expensive.
So we will see.
We have come up on a lot of amazing deals but so far everyone of them have been scams.

Anyways. Just thought i would give you all a quick update.
Mason just woke up so i better get back to it.
Hope everyone has a better day then me!! :)

Mason's hair was getting super long..
and i guess i am my mothers daughter..
cause i took him to her to get it cut..
well buzzed...

Still not quiet sure what is happening to him..

I would say it was a good experience.

Christmas Wrap-up.

Christmas was pretty crazy this year.
It all began Christmas eve.
We went to AJ's dad's house at 10:30 am...

Here is where Mason opened his first gift.

Ta-Da!

and then he wanted more.

AJ got an Xbox 360..
and a quad racing game.
I'm pretty sure he is addicted to it..
and i've lost him to a game.

Here is mason and I playing with the bubble wrap.

Next we went to mom's house but of course i didnt get any pictures of her party..

After mom's we went to AJ's Grandparent's house.

This was the only one i took.
Mason with his great Grandpa.

Then Christmas morning we stayed home
and did our own Christmas thing.
AJ got me an Ipod...
I know.. I know.. I'm a lucky girl..
Mason got this sweet Jeep walker.
What a spoiled boy!

After that.. we went to AJ's mom's house and had our last Christmas.

By this time..
Mason was a pro present opener.

Usually I Love Christmas.
But this year I'm finding it hard to really get into Christmas.
I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the..
-Worsening economy which = less money.
-Everyone telling us we have to be at their house.
When all i want is a quiet Christmas at my house.
{{I totally get why people go out of town for holidays.}}
-I can't even find a parking place at Walmart.
-There are way too many people out and about at odd times of the day.
and it is just getting worse.

Anyways. On to a happier subject...

he he. He is such a fun kid.
He is getting so frustrated because he wants to crawl so bad but
just isn't quiet there yet.
So he is wanting me to hold him all day and take him with me EVERYWHERE.
Don't get my wrong
I love having him with me..
but he is getting so heavy!!

He is sitting up all on his own.
He is getting to the point where he can even move around and still not topple over.
Its funny how just one day they have it figured out.

He is standing..
almost by himself.
He hasn't figured out that if he lets go...
he will fall over. ha ha.

He is getting so big and bored with all his toys.
So for Christmas we are buying him a Walker.
Hopefully it will keep him a little more entertained.

AJ's grandparents are in town from Texas for christmas.

Mason is 6 months.
Crazy how fast it goes.
We took him to get his first pictures taken
and they came out so cute.
These were the few we ordered.
{{pictures are so stinkin' expensive!!}}

Other then that we haven't been up too much.
It was my Birthday yesterday...
for everyone who forgot.
{{except Grandma and Grandpa...}}
haha.
No biggie. Just 22.
I have been spending all our money on Mason's things and food and diapers
that i have started to look trashy cause i wasn't getting anything new for myself.
So This year all i wanted was money.
And Money was all i got!!
And some AMAZING green roses from my husband.
After we picked up Mason's pictures we went out to eat and that was about it.

I am doing a Pampered Chef party tonight..
which i am kind of nervous about.
I am not such a good party thrower.
Never have been.
One time when i was younger we rented out a pool in Salinas to have my party at and we invited like 100 people and i think i maybe had 5.
It pretty much scarred me for Life.
haha.
But it should be pretty fun.
So today I am cleaning the house
and rushing off to kohls to get a new look.

Two thanksgiving dinners down...
Two more to go.
Having big families is hard.
Especially when everyone wants you at their holiday gathering.
But this year we got lucky.
AJ's Grandma had her family thanksgiving dinner last Saturday.
Mom had her's tonight.
AJ's mom is having one tomorrow night.
Last but not least
AJ's Dad is having a dinner Saturday.
So we didn't have to choose who's house to go to
and worst... who's feelings we were going to hurt by not having enough time to show up.

We had some of Dad {{Jason's}} Family come into town this year for thanksgiving.
Which ment we got to have grandpa's homemade Gravy...mmmm
But after dinner every year we take a drive down to the beach
and go for a long walk.

It was such a pretty evening till the sun started going down
and then it got pretty cold and Mason had had enough.

Almost Turkey day!!

Mason is 5 months. 2 weeks. 5 days.
I love watching him learn new things every day.
He is sitting almost by himself.
He will still wobble to one side or the other every now and then
but for the most part he is pretty sturdy.

He is getting good with his hand and eyes too.
If something falls he is all over it trying to get it back.

I love his smile.
He is just such a laid back sweet boy.

Well I dont have much Christmas Decorations...
Considering this will be our first christmas in our own home..
So i have just been gathering things as i see them.

This Nativity Set Mom bought for me and one for Jess.
It is by far my favorite.
I love all the different scenes on their robes.

I really love Snowmen.
I think they are so cute.

Grandma Fish.. This picture is for you.
He loved this bear you got for him.
he rolls all over it and covers it with drool.
Its been his new favorite thing.
Now all he needs is the Teddy Bear Picnic Book.

I love his hair.
It seriously has a mind of it's own.
This time it dried in a Mohawk.
He is so cute.

The doc. told me i should wait till he is 6 months to start him on food..
but he just wanted it so bad.
I gave in and made him some rice cereal and
I think he had more fun spitting it our of his mouth and playing with it
then actually eating it.
Dang boy!

I love all our trees near the house.
Most of the streets here in Gilroy are lined with trees and
come fall it gets so pretty.

Fall means it almost Orange time too!!

Our tree is packed full
and they are HUGE
seriously some of them are bigger than softballs.

The flowers on the orange tree smell so great
they are nice to look at too..

I was holding the baby and he got a hold of the mouse and was clicking.
He clicked something and my whole layout thing was gone and i couldn't get it back.
Along with all my previous posts.
So sadly i got so frustrated trying to get it all back i just gave up
and deleted it.
I learned my lesson and Mason will not be anywhere close to the mouse anymore.

So here is my new and improved blog.
